heres some photoshop work i made for some school projects a while back. nothing too crazy, just some simple image manipulation. all the original images were provided by the instuctor.

RATS

this was a pencil drawing that had been hiding in a notebook for years.

i scanned in the page and traced over the blue pencil with a black vector line. then added some color a background and a border. im sure it could be used somewhere just havent thought of for what or where to use it.

B&B HARDWARE

i had posted these before but then took them down cause i wanted to resize them. these are some ideas developed for bumps & bruises skate shop. its for their skateboard hardware which are the screws and nuts that hold the trucks onto the board. before i joined the bumps crew they had already established characters that had that "simpsons" look to them. you know, big bug eyes and that weird lip thing. so i used that same style for the characters and put them in some skating situations. ouch!

UNFINISHED

heres the reaper from a couple posts back. it took two days and three sharpies to complete. heres a picture about halfway through.

A couple of forms i made for an internship in 06. i also revised some of the earlier posts. it was like going back in time and changing the future...or something like that. anyway its better now...is anyone even reading this?

SKETCHES

heres some sketches and ideas from the last post. i used a light table on some of the later ones once i felt the form was starting to come together. the final product was done with a vector line in illustrator. i like the first one.

ELITE SKATE TEAM

this one i just finished. i had been messing around with the "elite" letters for a while. then once i got the letters to look the way i wanted a friend of mine suggested i do a "slasher" style graphic to go with it. tommorrow ill put up some of the sketches and ideas to show my process. heres a link to see the "E" team in action...ELITESKATETEAM

JUST SOME DUCKS

i drew one duck with a red ball point pen. then i scanned it in and made it multiple ducks on this green background. just some quick work that i wanted to show. its not for anything.

MY SKULL

heres another graphic i did for bumps & bruises, aka B&B. the skull graphic had been sitting in a notebook for years already. i simply switched out the eyes and nose to what you see now...the B&B skull. looks good. lets use it! later on i animated it and threw it on the website. click on the B&B skull to see it come to life!

BUMPS & BRUISES SKATE SHOP

heres some skate deck designs that got made . the "B&B" logo board is still available. the serpent logo was made in four colors . all 50 were sold!! sweet!
